    strMsg = "Sorry, '" & NewData & "' is not a current book title. Would you like to add it?"

    Select Case MsgBox(strMsg, vbYesNo, "Add Book?")
        Case vbYes

            'NewData is the data entered into the combo box
            DoCmd.OpenForm strForm, , , , acFormAdd, acDialog, NewData

            'Suppress the Access error message
            Response = acDataErrAdded
            DoCmd.Close acForm, strForm

        Case vbNo
            MsgBox "You must select an item from the list or add a new one.", vbExclamation, "Information"

            'Return the Access error message
            Response = acDataErrContinue
    End Select
End Sub

The code for “frmAddBookTitle”
